The 80’s wave is still raging in New York it seems. While high-waisted cut-off shorts, wayfarers and bubblegum gym outfits are the neverending worst part of it, it might bring from time to time something good to music.
Twin Shadow is the project of George Lewis Jr, and he will have a first album out late September on Terrible Records.
When asked to introduce Twin Shadow to our readers, this is what he said: “Hey readers, I am Twin Shadow, a Dominican kid from Nowhere, Florida and now I am somewhere, with friends around me and it feels good to play music, this music is for all you nowhere kids and I know that’s most of you even if you are sitting in the heart of it.”
La vague 80s fait toujours rage à New York, semble-t-il. Alors que les shorts en jean taille haute, les wayfarers et les tenues d’aerobic aux couleurs bubble gum en sont la pire version, elle peut aussi amenr de tempsen temps quelque chose d’intéressant musicalement.

The smash of a tv crashing on a sidewalk thrown from three stories up (three stories is a very important measurement for the right sound).
Le craquement d’une télé qui s’écrase sur le trottoir, jetée du haut de trois étages (3 étages est une donnée très importante pour obtenir le bon son).
